Key Returners
Kylel Coleman-Senior combo guard.  Kylel had a good junior year, averaging 17 points for a Gaels team that went 26-4.  He was the MVP of the Sunset Southwest League, was 1st team all Sunset Division, and all state.  One of the best athletes in Las Vegas, Kylel is currently being recruited by several division 1 schools.  He is a great slasher and defender and can really finish in transition.  Kylel has a 45 inch vertical!  Ranked as one of the top 20 shooting guards on the West Coast in the Class of 2009 by Prep West Hoops.
Czar Robotham-Senior point guard.  Czar returns for his senior year after starting at point guard as a junior.  He was solid for the Gaels last year, averaging 8 points and 4 assists per game.  Czar had a really good summer and should have a great senior year.  He is being recruited by several west coast schools. 
John Loyd-Junior Point Guard.  John has been one of Gorman's most valuable players the last two years, filling whatever roll has been asked of him.  This year, John will take on the leadership role of the team.  He excels on the defensive side of the ball and loves to push it in transition.  He averaged 6 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals last year as a junior.  John is getting a lot of Division 1 attention, even though he is just a junior.  
Anson Winder-6'3" junior wing.  Anson was a big contributor last year in the second half of the season, earning minutes on a deep varsity team that went 26-4.  He should be ready for a breakout junior year.  Anson is an athletic slasher who can score, defend, and rebound.

Buchanan High School

Key Returners:
Jackson Carbajal-6'3" junior guard averaged 7 points a game last year as a sophomore.  Jackson is a 3 year letterman who played in the junior all-star game at the second week of the Double Pump West Coast All Star Camp this past summer.  
Lance Orender-6'5" junior forward started a majority of games last year as a sophomore, averaging 8 points and 5 rebounds.  Lance is a 3 year letterman who has a solid offensive game, with the ability to play inside and out.  He is also one of the top quarterbacks in the California Central Section.
Alex Fertig-6'2" freshman guard-One of the most skilled perimeter players to enter high school basketball in Central California in the last 10 years.  He has a great stroke and fell for the game.  Alex has the ability to dominate the floor at a very young age.

Denver East High School

Key Returners:
DaVaughn Thornton -6'4" senior swingman averaged 13.2 points and 7.1 rebounds a game as junior.  DaVaughn, a three year starter, is take charge player who incorporates size and strength and athletic ability.  He is an All-State football player as well.  DaVaughn is expected to lead the Angels to continued tournament success.
Troy Wiese-6'2" senior guard averaged 8.5 points a game last year as a junior.  Troy shows continual improvement every time he takes the court.  He is an exceptional shooter who has added a full court presence to his game.  A 4.5 GPA student, Troy offers tremendous upside to any college program.

Desert Pines High School

Key Returners:
Pierre Jackson-5'10" point guard.  Averaged 15 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, and 4 steals last year as a junior.  One of the best point guards in the Las Vegas area.
Reggie Shaw-6'3" Senior guard.  Averaged 18 points and 5 rebounds last year as a junior.  Very quick and athletic guard. 
Chris Perry-6'3" junior guard.  Chris averaged 12 points and 6 rebounds as a sophomore last year.  He is an athlete who plays on both ends of the floor and can get above the rim.

Dominguez High School

2007-2008 Record:32-3
Dominguez returns 11 players and all 5 starters from a team that finished the year being ranked as the #13 in the country by USA Today.
Jordan Hamilton-6'7" senior guard averaged 28 points a game last year as a junior.  Jordan recently committed to play next year for the Texas Longhorns.  Jordan is currently ranked as the #5 player in the country by rivals and #13 by Scout Hoops.
Myron Green-6'4" senior guard averaged 12 points a game last year as a junior.
Thurman Woods-6'5" Forward averaged 14 points a game last year as a junior.  He recently committed to the University of Montana.
Robert Mandingo-6'4" senior guard averaged 10 points a game last year as a junior.
Keala King-6'4" junior guard averaged 13 points a game last year as a sophomore.

Faith Lutheran High School

Galena has been very successful over the years under Coach Mauer, winning the Nevada State Championship in 2007 and producing McDonald's All-American and Nevada's All-Time leading scorer, Luke Babbitt.

Granite Hills High School

Dean Miller-6'3" senior wing averaged 21 points and 8 rebounds a game last year.  Was named to the all- league 1st team.
Aaron Harris-6'0" senior forward averaged 13 points a game as a junior and was named to the all-league team.

Marin Catholic High School

With four returning starters, Marin Catholic is favored to win the Marin County Athletic League, compete for the Division IV North Coast Section title, and make a run at their fifth California state playoff appearance in the last 10 years.

Les Smith
-6'1" senior guard averaged 14.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists last year as a junior.  He is one of the top guards in the San Francisco area.  He was All-League and All-Bay Area last year.  Receiving interest from University of Pennsylvania, Cal St. Fullerton, and Hartford University.
Blair White-6'4" senior forward.  He averaged 5 points and 7.7 rebounds last year as a junior.  Blair is a great rebounder, and has worked very hard to improve on both ends of the court.  He is being recruited in track (200/400) by most Ivy League Schools, Duke, and Georgetown.
Austin Renk-5'11" senior point guard.  Averaged 7.6 points, 3.2 assists, and 3.5 rebounds as a junior.  He is an excellent point guard who can score and rebound.
Matt Olhausen-6'5" senior forward missed 90% of his junior year due to a torn hamstring and a back injury.  He is now being recruited by some divison 1 schools that will monitor his progress over the course of the season.

McClymonds High School

Austin Morgan-5'11" senior guard.  Austin averaged 20 points and 5 assists last year as a junior, helping Reno win the 4A Nevada State Championship.  He is a four-year letterman who was all-state as a junior and should be in consideration for Nevada state player of the year as senior.  Austin has committed to play basketball next year at Yale.
Zach Sanford-6'6" senior forward.  Averaged 12 points and 6 rebounds last year.  He was a big part of the state championship team.

Esteban Gonzalez-6'8" Senior Center-Had a solid year as a junior last year, averaging 6.1 points and 6 rebounds a game.
Anton Stallworth-6'2" Junior Forward-Averged 7.3 points and 4. 1 rebounds a game last year as a sophomore.  He is also the starting quarterback on the football team.

St. Johns's College High School

St. John's plays in the best league in the country, the WCAC, which has all the Catholic schools in the Washington DC area.

Derrick Thomas-6'4" senior wing.  Has already been offered several scholarships including stony brook, drexel, and James Madison.
Timmy Snyder-6'0" junior wing averaged 10 points a game last year as a sophomomore.  He is being recruited by several schools and has already been offered by Colgate.
Chris Martin-6'1" sophomore wing averaged 12 points a game last year as a freshman.  Chris was the top freshman in the Washington DC area last year.  He is already being recruited by the ACC, Big East, and Atlantic 10 conference.

Thunder Ridge High School

Dave Arnold
-6'2" senior point guard averaged 11 points and 5 assists a game last year.  He is a tough, smart, gutsy, leader who makes big plays.  Dave is being recruited by Northern Colorado, Denver Univeristy, Lafayette University, Davidson University, and the Air Force Academy. 
Dave Day-6'7" junior forward averaged 17 points and 9 rebounds a game on the JV team last year.  He is an athletic, long, and active leader with high potential.  He is being recruited by Porland University and Denver University.
